Jamie and Chris Allen | Donna Bella Chapel in McKinney, TX

A happily ever after wedding with a touch of New Orleans

When Jamie first got in touch with me about their fairy tale dream wedding coming true in McKinney, I was so excited – they were planning a jumping the broom tradition, a live band from Louisiana and a beautiful candlelit reception! Jamie and Chris seemed like the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to video their wedding!

Getting Ready

I was surprised by a bottle of wine from the bride herself when I arrived to capture her and her bridesmaids. They were getting ready in the Sanctuary music and events building. Along with Jamie’s gorgeous dress, she wore the cutest cheetah heels and Chris wore a dark suit with a classic tie. The two exchanged gifts and letters to each other and allowed me to record the special moment separately on camera.

Ceremony

The wedding took place at the Bella Donna Chapel, and it was a romantic ceremony. The bride and groom went with traditional, and waited to see each other down the aisle. The couple combined the small flames from their family’s candles into one. They each wrote their own touching vows.

When the time came to kiss the bride, the bride helped herself on kissing the groom before the pastor could finish his sentence; it was hilarious, but so sweet at the same time! After the ceremony, they jumped the broom and the crowd applauded. Everyone joined outside as the newlyweds rang the church’s bells announcing their news to the world!

Reception

The wedding reception took place at the Sanctuary music and events hall, which they’d decorated with candlelight and photos. It was a charming sight.

During the reception they had a live band come out all the way from Louisiana, which you could tell everyone loved by the wave of white handkerchiefs all over the place. After the meal there were a few speeches as well as a few tears! The DJ then kicked off the party and everyone danced in the center of the venue with the newly weds.

The couple

Jamie and Chris met through Instagram. Chris proposed to Jamie on New Years Eve in Downtown Dallas in front of the Reunion Tower-watching the Fireworks. Jamie was trying to record the fireworks when they were counting down to the new year; when the number landed on one, Jamie turned around and saw Chris was on one knee.

Here’s the couple’s magical wedding!

Reina and Casey Sepulveda | The SPRINGS Event Venue in Brookshire, Texas

On February 23, 2019, Reina and Casey Sepulveda made a pinky promise to one another at the Springs’ Tuscany Halls; an old-world Italian styled venue in Brookshire, Texas. The couple chose Skys the Limit Production to both photograph and video their special day.

Reina wore a white strapless long A-line dress that created a medium length train on the ground. Her outfit came with a long veil and a bouquet of red and white flowers. Casey wore a light grey suit with a classy red bow-tie. Before walking down the aisle, the couple chose to do a first touch on the corner outside of their venue.

The weather was clear skies for the outside ceremony. Two by two, the bridesmaids and groomsmen happily walked down the aisle to reach their destination underneath the giant wooden arbor. The flower girl made sure every little bush she passed by had a flower petal on top; she then cautiously made her way to the aisle. As the couple exchanged their vows to one another, the crowd couldn’t help, but join in with their sweet chuckles and tears. My personal favorite was Casey calling Reina his queen, but I think I can speak for everyone when I say that the funniest promise was not to take the last Oreo.

It certainly felt like a February wedding whenever you walked into the room with the red, blush pink and glittery gold all over. Reina surprised Casey with his own Mario cupcakes. The couple respectfully visited each table in the reception hall to thank their guests for coming. Going with tradition, the groom danced with his mother and the bride danced with her father, but to add to those special dances, Reina decided to dance with her mother as well. The night ended with a tender dance between the newly weds. Reina and Casey, thank you for having us capture these moments for you two!

Randa and Dustin Medows | Book Nook Inn Bed and Breakfast in Lumberton, Texas

Randa and Dustin Medows were wed inside the Book Nook Inn; a modest and charming bed and breakfast in Lumberton, Texas. The couple chose Skys the Limit Production to video their special day on December 29, 2018.

Randa wore red high heels and a long white dress that brushed the ground. Her outfit was personalized with a black leather jacket as well as a red glittered “Medows” placed on the back. Dustin wore a simple white shirt with the sleeves rolled up. This was accompanied by black suspenders and a red plaid tie. The couple decided to throw out tradition and have a first look before the wedding outside by the lake. Dustin’s face said it all when he turned and saw Randa; he couldn’t wait to make her his wife.

The ceremony was special in every way especially since Randa’s grandfather married the two. Everyone smiled when Randa’s grandfather shared his favorite story of the bride and her BB gun. In the couple’s own words, they shared their vows to one another. The ceremony ended with a simple first kiss with an approved grandpa saying “there ya go!”

The ceremony room was transformed into the reception room. It was a festive wedding filled with holiday plaid decorations and desserts (of course!) All watched and applauded the newlyweds as they made their grand entrance; Randa lifted her bouquet of ornaments as the cheers continued! Because of the colder December weather, the couple made sure guests were kept warm with smores and blankets. Later in the evening, after the groom tossed the bride’s garter, the single men were puzzled. The winner of the garter toss seemed to convince all the second-placers the garter disappeared before revealing the champion. The men laughed and everyone joined the floor to dance.

In 2014, Dustin and Randa met at a Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. Later, again in Fuzzy’s, Dustin asked Randa to marry him. Can you guess what caterer the lovely couple chose for their wedding day?

Haley and David Louis | The Manor at the Springs Rockwall

Haley and David Louis got married outside one of the beautiful Springs’ venues, which is a colonial venue with southern charm in Rockwall, Texas. Skys the Limit Production had the honor of capturing the couple’s wedding day on December 16, 2018, through videography.

David exuded confidence, the warm oceanic blue complimented by a dark crimson tie. Haley’s dress clung to her body, accenting the hourglass shape she had, the lace covered her dress like a map. They looked as if they were both made for this day. Before seeing each other at the aisle, they both chose to take communion and prayer with their sisters and brothers.

The ceremony was a gorgeous service underneath an enormous covered platform held together by white pillars. To make the occasion all more special, David’s father married the young couple. Haley and David each read their own solemn promises to one another and ended the ceremony by sharing their very first kiss to one another. How much of a privilege it was for me and everyone to witness!

The reception was held inside the manor and it was full of class with a few touches of rustic wedding. David and his boys performed a dance in front of everyone with the song “Rude”. The newlyweds had an intimate dinner with family and friends and received kind words, unforgettable stories, and advice from their loved ones. No one could forget – or resist to huddle together for the Aggie fight song. The night was then finished off with lots of dancing and laughs all around.

Brianna & TJ | The Springs Event Venue in McKinney, Texas

“Today many people say marriages should be 50/50. We believe they should be 100/100.” Brianna and TJ met at a local bar in College Station. As life happened, the two grew closer, prompting TJ to ask Brianna’s father for her hand in marriage. He was determined to show her father how much he meant to her, brandishing the ring he carefully picked out. True to his word, the following day he proposed to Brianna.
On June 2nd of 2018, Brianna and TJ were wed at the Springs Event Venue in McKinney, Texas.

Whilst getting ready, TJ adorned his Bride-to-be with jewelry and (their inside joke) silly string. Once ready, Brianna did a first look with her father. They embraced, misty-eyed. Shortly after, Brianna wanted to steal a moment before they were wed with her groom showing him her dress. The Groom was very clearly smitten with his beautiful Bride before him.
The couple were wed under the vast sky and a crowd full of loved ones. They proudly recited their vows as the pastor gave a word of advice “you need to give each other 100% everyday…Be committed to your marriage everyday and someday when you’re old and attending your grandchildren’s wedding, you will be the couple who wins the dance contest on who’s been married the longest.”

The reception was very lively. The couple entered, boasting each other on their arm as they made their way down the staircase, the guests twirled their towels as if they were at a game. It was a joyful pandemonium.
The cutting of the cake was a treat for all who watched; TJ chased Brianna with icing on his finger. The couple danced to “Keeper of the Stars” by Tracy Byrd. Afterward, Brianna and her friends did the Aggie fight song and TJ jokingly threw up a Longhorn sign. As the dancing continued, the crowd danced with glow sticks making for a colorful end to a wonderful day.
As the couple got ready to head off into the night as Mr. & Mrs., the crowd blew a cloud of bubbles in their direction as they kissed once more for their loved ones before driving off together.

Skys the Limit Production would like to thank you for choosing us to be a part of this wonderful day! Congratulations! We wish you both nothing, but the best!
