Geny + Libin | Hilton Garden Inn Dallas in Lewisville, Texas

Geny and Libin’s ceremony gracefully unfolded into a breathtaking celebration of unity and culture in Richardson, Texas. Their holy matrimony was nothing short of magical. The day was filled with cherished traditions, heartfelt moments, and joyous festivities. As their wedding photographer and videographer, I was truly honored to capture every precious moment. From their enchanting bubble exit to the electrifying dance floor, every detail of their day radiated pure joy.

Ceremony at St Philopateer Coptic Orthodox Church:

The grand St Philopateer Coptic Orthodox Church in Richardson provided a stunning backdrop for Geny and Libin’s union. The vibrant colors of the church surrounded the couple as they exchanged vows and were surrounded by loved ones. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as drums echoed outside, signaling the beginning of their new journey together. In addition, the bubble exit was a whimsical touch, which added a playful element to their otherwise solemn ceremony.

Reception at Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Lewisville:

The festivities continued at the elegant Hilton Garden Inn Dallas Lewisville, where Geny and Libin’s reception opened in grandeur. Their grand entrance was a sight to behold. They were accompanied by their family and friends from the wedding party, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. The venue sparkled with laughter and love as guests gathered to celebrate the newlyweds.

Traditions:

A highlight of the reception was the traditional milk ceremony, a heartfelt tribute to the couple’s cultural heritage. As Geny and Libin took the stage, their mothers lovingly served them milk. The mother of the groom served the bride as the mother of the bride served the groom. This symbolizes each mother welcoming their new child into the family with this sign of nourishment. It was a touching moment that underscored the significance of family and tradition in their union.

First Dance and Dancing on Clouds:

Libin’s dance with his mother, followed by his dance with Geny, was a mesmerizing display of love and emotion. The dance floor transformed into a dreamlike setting as the couple danced on clouds, with Libin lifting his bride in a graceful motion. Their first dance culminated in a tender kiss and a dramatic dip, leaving guests in awe of their love and chemistry.

Second Grand Entrance in Golden Indian Attire:

As the evening progressed, Geny and Libin made a second grand entrance, adorned in stunning golden Indian attire. The guests erupted into cheers and applause, welcoming the couple with open arms. Before joining the festivities indoors, the couple paused for sparkler photos outside with their wedding party, creating magical moments that would be cherished forever.

Joyous Celebrations with Family and Friends:

Throughout the night, family and friends from Detroit and Dallas came together to celebrate Geny and Libin’s union with lively dances and heartfelt performances. Even the bride and groom joined in, adding to the joy and laughter that filled the air. It was a testament to the love and support that surrounded the couple as they embarked on this new chapter of their lives together.

Conclusion:

Geny and Libin’s wedding day was a beautiful tapestry of love, tradition, and celebration. From the sacred rituals of their ceremony to the joyous festivities of their reception, every moment was infused with meaning and magic. As their photographer, I feel privileged to have been a part of their special day, capturing memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. Cheers to Geny and Libin! May your love continue to shine brightly as you journey through life together.

Blessing and Opekere Omuku| The Aristide in Mckinney, Texas

The Aristide at 6200 TPC Drive had never seen beauty quite like what flooded its frame at 1400 hundred hours on the 16th of August. A moment redefined by the merging of two worlds, as Blessing and Opekere committed themselves to one another before God and family in a ceremony reminiscent of royalty. Skys the Limit Production had the distinct pleasure of capturing their nuptials.

How they met

Blessing’s sister was the first to discover the treasure hidden in the Omuku family, when she found forever with his cousin, Mina. From the first moment she met Ope, she knew that he would be good for her sister and she was correct. It was only fitting that Mina, which means the child that brings two families together, and his wife, Blessings sister provide a means to connected these two lovebirds. Despite any misgivings the two may have had, Blessing and Ope found a rare love in one another; a love that far exceeded their wildest dreams.

There was nothing out of the ordinary about a trip to the aquarium during a visit from Blessing’s family. As they made their way through the aquarium, she couldn’t hide her surprise when she saw her best friend and goddaughter, whom Ope had secretly flown into town, walking towards her. The question in her eyes was quickly answered as Ope took that moment to ask for her hand in front of those dear to her.

Wedding day

Crystal chandeliers glistened as they hung from the vaulted ceilings of the classic wedding chapel, adding a little bit of magic to the space. The wooden pews, which lined the floor, were vacated briefly as Blessing, escorted by her father in, made her way down the aisle to her Ope who awaited her, all the love in his heart spilling from his eyes. The scene was a seamless mesh of traditional ceremonial hues and a rich Nigerian culture.

The future Mrs. Omuku looked royal in her white traditional, strapless, sequined gown, a diamond encrusted headband, and a beautiful diamond necklace. Opekere looked dashing in his classic black tux, with a simple soft pink rose pinned to the front of his jacket.

With a sparkle in his eyes, Blessing’s father passed on the responsibilities of protecting and loving his beautiful gem, his Blessing, onto Ope in a manner that only a loving father could. Tears flowed as Blessing and Ope made clear their promises to one another, opting to speak from a place they’ve learned to trust, their hearts.

The wedding party soon grooved their way into a beautiful ballroom to the melodic tunes of Tiwa Savage’s, All Over, where guests of the ceremony were already seated. Blessing and Ope stole the show as they claimed the dance floor, proving to everyone that they were indeed the “freshest couple; the newest couple; the most beautiful couple.”

Skys the Limit Production would like to offer a very special thank you to the lovely couple.

Reina and Casey Sepulveda | The SPRINGS Event Venue in Brookshire, Texas

On February 23, 2019, Reina and Casey Sepulveda made a pinky promise to one another at the Springs’ Tuscany Halls; an old-world Italian styled venue in Brookshire, Texas. The couple chose Skys the Limit Production to both photograph and video their special day.

Reina wore a white strapless long A-line dress that created a medium length train on the ground. Her outfit came with a long veil and a bouquet of red and white flowers. Casey wore a light grey suit with a classy red bow-tie. Before walking down the aisle, the couple chose to do a first touch on the corner outside of their venue.

The weather was clear skies for the outside ceremony. Two by two, the bridesmaids and groomsmen happily walked down the aisle to reach their destination underneath the giant wooden arbor. The flower girl made sure every little bush she passed by had a flower petal on top; she then cautiously made her way to the aisle. As the couple exchanged their vows to one another, the crowd couldn’t help, but join in with their sweet chuckles and tears. My personal favorite was Casey calling Reina his queen, but I think I can speak for everyone when I say that the funniest promise was not to take the last Oreo.

It certainly felt like a February wedding whenever you walked into the room with the red, blush pink and glittery gold all over. Reina surprised Casey with his own Mario cupcakes. The couple respectfully visited each table in the reception hall to thank their guests for coming. Going with tradition, the groom danced with his mother and the bride danced with her father, but to add to those special dances, Reina decided to dance with her mother as well. The night ended with a tender dance between the newly weds. Reina and Casey, thank you for having us capture these moments for you two!

Haley and David Louis | The Manor at the Springs Rockwall

Haley and David Louis got married outside one of the beautiful Springs’ venues, which is a colonial venue with southern charm in Rockwall, Texas. Skys the Limit Production had the honor of capturing the couple’s wedding day on December 16, 2018, through videography.

David exuded confidence, the warm oceanic blue complimented by a dark crimson tie. Haley’s dress clung to her body, accenting the hourglass shape she had, the lace covered her dress like a map. They looked as if they were both made for this day. Before seeing each other at the aisle, they both chose to take communion and prayer with their sisters and brothers.

The ceremony was a gorgeous service underneath an enormous covered platform held together by white pillars. To make the occasion all more special, David’s father married the young couple. Haley and David each read their own solemn promises to one another and ended the ceremony by sharing their very first kiss to one another. How much of a privilege it was for me and everyone to witness!

The reception was held inside the manor and it was full of class with a few touches of rustic wedding. David and his boys performed a dance in front of everyone with the song “Rude”. The newlyweds had an intimate dinner with family and friends and received kind words, unforgettable stories, and advice from their loved ones. No one could forget – or resist to huddle together for the Aggie fight song. The night was then finished off with lots of dancing and laughs all around.

Megan & Evan Allen| The Spring Events Venue in Aubrey

Megan and Evan met in the spring of 2013. Something is to be said about springtime. Birds singing songs of love, the busy bugs buzzing in unison like a dull roar. The sunny weather shining down on Earth and all the creations inhabiting it, heady scent flowers and crisp scent of grass filling the senses. No doubt the combination of this and steady eye for one girl, in particular, made for a novel like romance. Megan was working in Victoria’s Secret when Evan happened to come across her. You hear stories all the time about true love and how one will know, well, this surely was the case.

December 2016, during their annual date, to celebrate their half anniversary at the Gaylord Texan, Evan proposed. The twinkling of the Christmas lights in the background and the beauty of everything around them preserved them at that moment, something to kindle the heart no matter how old.

October 19, 2018, Megan and Evan were wed at the Spring Events Venue in Aubrey, Texas. Megan was a beauty to behold, her golden hair was pinned and braided in a vintage up-do, her train, flowing behind her like the autumn breeze as intricate lace embroidery catches the eye. Evan’s hair was smoothed to the side, the clean cut-ness of his suit made him look sharp and in every way a gentleman. The ceremony between these two lovers was as magical as the first time I did a wedding. Skys the Limit Production would like to thank you both for choosing us to capture your day through both video and photography! We are so honored and blessed to have been able to have been a part of your special day!
