Chelsey and Joshua Mullins | Chapel at Chestnut Square in McKinney, Texas

The Chapel at Chestnut Square

At the start of the 18th hour on August 10th, Chelsey and Joshua leapt into the next chapter of their lives in a beautiful vintage ceremony in the Chapel at Chestnut Square in McKinney, Texas. Skys the Limit Production was there to record and frame each precious moment.

Nearly 13 years ago love found a resting place between these two in perhaps, one of the unlikeliest places, a brand-new restaurant in Rockwall on the harbor. Neither of them could have predicted that their budding friendship would eventually lead them down the aisle.

With Joshua’s two daughters and Chelsey’s two sons, the two joined forming a modern-day Brady Bunch, just as sweet as fiction. The night before they were to officially adopt the title of homeowners, Joshua surprised Chelsey with a question of forever on his lips on the steps of that house, ensuring that this new page had a glorious start.

Chapel at Chestnut Square

The Chapel at Chestnut Square offered itself as an excellent representation of this lovely couple. It provided all the elements of a classic wedding ceremony with the sprinklings of new traditions specific to their new union.

Joshua couldn’t hold his tears at bay as the large dark wood doors of the chapel opened to reveal his bride, wearing an elegant creamy white, sleeveless sequined gown, as she took her first steps toward their forever. He stood, with an anxious calm in a white- collar shirt with his sleeves rolled up, covered in a simple four button dark grey vest and pants. With one hand resting over the other, his leg shook as he prepared to take her hand into his own. There was not a dry eye in sight as friends and family alike, witnessed their commitment take shape in front of their very eyes.

Once their “I Do’s were exchanged the newlyweds, along with their guests, ventured out of the chapel and into the reception area. Smiles were radiating light from all around with tears of joy to match. Guests took their time to write notes, pose for pictures, and keepsakes, to wish the couple well until daylight started to retreat.

With the certificate signed, the bouquet tossed, the toasts concluded, the couple took to the stone floor of the wooden gazebo, urging others to join as they fervently danced the night away.

On March 21st, during a sunny Thursday afternoon, Alicia and James got married at the lovely River Road Chateau, which is a Texas chic venue in Anna. Skys the Limit Production captured the couple’s perfect day on video.

The ceremony was a beautiful service under the venue’s iconic chandelier, and the reception was held in the rustic ballroom, and it was a plum and spring inspired wedding. Mr. & Mrs. Bowles had lots of cake in the afternoon, and an intimate family dinner in the evening, and they finished off the night with lots of dancing.

Kayla & David Rogers | Southfork Ranch in Parker, Texas

On the 4th of August of 2018 Kayla and David became husband and wife. The couple were wed at the Southfork Ranch in Parker, Texas. The couple had met in the kitchen at MCP. Kayla was working hard to pursue her dream of a teaching career and David, worked diligently at the Renaissance Hotel in Legacy West.

As time went by, their relationship flourished. David decided it was time to ask Kayla for her hand in marriage. Shortly after deciding Kayla was the one David took Kayla on a gondola ride. The gondolier put a bottle in the river and asked Kayla to get it because they help out the local police with littering. Interested in helping the community Kayla agreed to help in their endeavors. In the bottle was a carefully written letter authored by David. He wrote of his feelings for her explaining that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Upon reading the letter shes turns over to him and he is down on one knee, the ring shining brilliantly from it’s box. Needless to say, she said yes!

The day of the wedding was bright and sunny, as if the heavens itself were in awe. The style of the wedding had a formal chic feel to it making for an exciting vision. The venue was also interesting location having been shot in the TV series “Dallas”.

Before the ceremony, David and his groomsmen set up the door where they would walk through during the wedding. Meanwhile Kayla did a heartwarming first look with her dad and brothers. Shortly after, the couple later read beautiful letters from one another. David said a prayer for his bride and himself of their special day. The anticipation growing. Kayla wore a beautiful cream dress, envisioning the perfect bride. Her hair pinned up, delicate braids accenting her updo, her smile beamed brighter than any diamond. David sported a soft navy suit and bow tie as he stood handsomely waiting for his bride. They recited their own vows before their loved ones as they tied a cord of three strands. The crowd cheered as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. They danced their way down the aisle and to the reception.

The reception was full of fun and many surprises. David and his mother did a delightful mash up dance, the crowd hooted and cheered as the two danced merrily. Kayla and her father also did a mashup making for even more fun. The two ending the dance on a very sweet note.

No matter how many wedding you do, you’re still in awe of the amount of love one couple can share. Kayla and David’s love is one for the books. Skys the Limit was very grateful to be able to witness and film this beautiful union for the couple. We wish you both nothing but the best. Thank you for choosing Skys the Limit!
