Alison and Eric | Wedding in New Braunfels, Texas

A Romantic Start in New Braunfels, Texas

Ali and Eric’s wedding weekend kicked off with a memorable night before the big day. The couple began at the charming Sidecar at Prince Solms Inn, where they enjoyed small bites, fancy cocktails, and heartfelt chats with longtime friends. The evening continued at Moonshine & Ale, where a lively singer invited the couple onstage to announce their upcoming union. Cheers erupted as Ali and Eric shared a modest dance and a sweet kiss in front of an adoring crowd.

Wedding Day Bliss at the Lake

The next morning, Ali, Eric, and their loved ones gathered in the Airbnb living room for a joyful breakfast. Ali’s mother, Donna, poured her heart into every detail. From stunning flowers to elegant plate settings to a breathtaking charcuterie board, so much love was put into the details. The morning was filled with laughter, mimosas, and emotional surprises. Months earlier, family member, Katie, arranged a special video gift of Ali’s late father, compiled from home videos by Donna. It was a video I’ve never created before, but felt tremendously honored to have been a part of it. Overwhelmed with emotion, Ali also received a photo of her father from her mother to include in her bouquet. A touching tribute to his enduring love.

Getting Ready with Love and Laughter

The bride and her girls prepared upstairs in a relaxed setting, perfect for Ali. Before slipping into her stunning gown, the couple exchanged private promises. Eric’s parents added the finishing touches to his look, including his boutonniere. While Donna buttoned Ali into her elegant, strapless mermaid dress with a flowing train. Ali’s first look was a heartfelt moment, shared with her girl friends, niece Audree, Lee, and her two brothers.

A Heartfelt Ceremony by the Lake

The ceremony unfolded with Eric walking his mother, Ali’s older brother officiating and Lee walking her down the aisle. This all accompanied by the beautiful strains of a violin during the procession. Emotions ran high as vows were exchanged, rings placed, and a first kiss sealed the union. Clapping and hugs from family symbolized a new beginning. Clear skies blessed the couple for stunning family and couple portraits by the lake.

Unique Touches and Festive Fun

Guests captured memories with Polaroids and left custom notes. Eric’s impromptu lake photo session with his friends nearly ended in a splash, sparking laughter, while Ali’s girls posed with giggles. The couple cut their cake, fed each other, and Ali—showcasing her bartending skills—popped champagne, playfully pouring some into Eric’s mouth. Their custom pink champagne glasses, crafted by a friend, added a personal flair. Dancing kicked off with a beautiful routine, followed by emotional dances with Lee, Jordan, Brad, and Eric’s mother. Ali later stunned her Mawmaw with a dancing dress change, leading to an epic after-party at Downtown Social with endless dancing and singing.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Serenil!

As the videographer and photographer, I had a blast capturing every creative moment of Ali and Eric’s uniquely theirs wedding. Congratulations to the happy couple on their beautiful journey!

Kristina + Jordan | Wedding in New Braunfels, Texas

The wedding day

On a crisp winter day, January 11th, 2025, two households became one. Jordan and Kristina joined together to profess their long-standing commitment to one another. Surrounded by nature, the scenic lake in New Braunfels made for an intimate backdrop for these two lovebirds.

Kristina glided down to Jordan. Her dress was cream, with an overlay of intricately designed lace. She wore a bejeweled crest in her hair. What made her look even more memorable? Her pink Converse! What a cute and comfortable way to get married! At the same time, Jordan sported a dusty lavender two piece suit with a navy vest coupled with a navy tie to give that extra pop of color.

In addition, one of the most endearing parts of the wedding day was seeing the little flower girl, Miss Kennedy—aka the bride’s daughter—shyly make her way to her mother, scattering rose petals along the path. Meanwhile, Jordan’s sister, Ali, officiated the wedding. The atmosphere was bubbly and light, full of sibling jokes and personalized touches. Afterward, the couple exchanged vows in front of their loved ones, and the crowd erupted in cheers as they were finally presented as the Millers!

The wedding after party

The celebration that followed was an absolute delight. To begin, the couple participated in a traditional cross glass drinking of wine. Next, Jordan and Kristina arrived at the Oyster Bar in New Braunfels. They kicked things off with delicious dishes from the menu, and a second tradition of cutting the cake, followed by the infamous “breakfast shots.” These included a shot of maple dark liquor, a shot of orange juice, and a tiny square of candied bacon to top it off. As the evening continued, Friends and family gathered close, celebrating and singing along with the music overhead.

However, the party didn’t stop there. After the Oyster Bar, the reception continued at a karaoke bar—The Hoity Toit Beer Joint—where the vibe took a fun time-hop back into the ‘80s. Everyone was laughing, singing, and cheering on the rotating performers. To top it all off, the bride has talent! Kristina wowed the room with her rendition of “Blue” by LeAnn Rimes. As she finished, the whole bar erupted in applause. All in all, Jordan sure is one lucky fella—and I feel lucky too, having had the chance to photograph such a fun, spontaneous, and joy-filled wedding.
