Behind Skys the Limit Production

My name is Sarah Kae Shelton, but before I was married, I was Sarah Kae Yarbrough—which is where the name SKYS the Limit comes from. It’s a nod to my roots and a reminder of where I started. From a young age, I was always drawn to visual storytelling. Whether it was volunteering for anything film-related or experimenting with a camera, expressing myself through a lens just felt natural.

In college, while earning my degree in communications with a focus on videography, I discovered a deep love and respect for photography. I learned the fundamentals of film—developing, processing, and printing by hand—and was swept away by the beauty and romance of it all. That’s when I knew: I wanted to be a photographer.

After spending three years working in news, marrying my best friend, and moving across Texas—twice—I finally took a leap of faith. I chose love. And now, I have the privilege of capturing it full time.
